Photographer Joshua Brown wanted to update his WordPress theme to take advantage of the superior performance of Kadence, but hold onto both the look and feel of his original, successful Flothemes site as well as his search rank. As long as updates were being made, he was also interested in refreshing with a few subtle branding and content tweaks.
The Method
Fishbulb’s web developer Annmarie rebuilt the site from the ground up, taking all of Joshua’s design choices from the original on-board, while ensuring that it was built for speed and optimized asset delivery.

The Result
We ran regular performance tests before and after the switch, to make sure that we were on track to accomplish the established requirements, and the results were clear. You can see live results for the updated site here.
